What We Are The Trailblazer Theatre Company was formed in January 2018 by the Lamar Public Library. It is a non-profit, amateur community theatre under the umbrella of the Southeast Colorado Arts Council. Who We Are Trailblazer Theatre is a partnership of individuals and organizations in the community, including the Lamar Public Library and the Lamar Community College. We rely on ticket sales and sponsorships to bring quality theatre to Southeast Colorado. Where we are We do not have a home, but are temporarily camped out at the Lamar Public Library. So far, we have had productions at the Lamar High School Auditorium, the Lamar Community College Bowman Large Lecture Hall, and the Cultural Events Center at the Lamar Public Library.
