FORWARD Employees have the right to expect and be provided a safe, sanitary, and healthful work environment. The City will attempt to identify all safety hazards and will provide necessary safety equipment. Employees who become aware of unsafe conditions will immediately report those conditions to their immediate supervisor. The City will provide safety equipment as necessary, and such equipment will be used and maintained by the employee, but will remain the property of the City and be returned by the employee upon termination of employment. Safety Violations: Failure to abide by safety procedures or to wear provided safety equipment is grounds for disciplinary action, which can range from a verbal warning up to immediate dismissal. a
